I manage a bar and grill downtown by the mall. During the month we are stressed at night, however not so much while I was in the morning, but on Tuesdays and Tuesdays, we are seriously stressed for lunch and supper. On the weekend nights we are open until 2:00 in the morning and we serve alcohol until closing. I needed to find a new dishwasher to fill a weekend position and I found a child that was 17 years old. I thought she was a little young to work in the home office. I don’t normally hire anyone under the age of 18 however this girl was close to her anniversary, then she worked in the home office for a couple of weeks and she did a certainly great task. Then she started slacking off and she came to work late. Two days in a row, she came to work smelling adore marijuana. I gave the child a warning about coming to work smelling adore a dispensary. The next month I only gave the kids various shifts instead of four. She worked all various days and never smelled adore marijuana, but last night I caught him smoking marijuana by the dumpster an fifth before she was supposed to start her shift. I told the child that I didn’t have any other option except to let him go. I gave him a lot of warnings and chances. She tried to tell me that marijuana was legal, but she wasn’t old enough to legally purchase the product. That was not going to be a great excuse for smoking in the parking lot of the restaurant.
