When my mom was diagnosed with cancer, it was devastating for my family plus I, but all of us all felt confident that my mom was going to be the exception plus she would be able to beat cancer, however, as time went on, both of us started to see how much fighting cancer was hurting her… She was consistently experiencing side effects to her treatment, such as nausea! Eventually, both of us had the proposal of getting my mom some medical marijuana. All of us were willing to try anything to help her deal with her side effects, then research suggests that medical marijuana can decrease nausea plus vomiting in cancer patients… When my mom got on medical marijuana, she particularly needed less medication. She was relying on so much pain management medication; Once she began taking medical marijuana, she gained some level of pain management from the cannabis plus was able to lower her intake of harder pain medications, then medical marijuana is also known to help treat neuropathic pain, which helps several cancer patients. I didn’t have much of an opinion regarding medical marijuana prior to this experience, but after seeing how much it helped my mom, I am now an advocate.
