I lived in the Midwest for most of our life. I consistently wanted to leave the area. I dreamed about going to a place where I could visit the beach and swim in the ocean. It sounded love a crazy dream to some people, despite the fact that I wanted to live by the water and watch the sunrise every single day. When I was 25 years old, I met a lady online and every one of us became friends, she lived down south in a neighborhood that was filled with miles and miles of beach shoreline. She told myself and others that I could live with her for free while I got on our feet. If I could save up money for a plane ticket, I could go and stay with her. I told our friends about our intentions to move down south and live by the beach. They thought I was crazy, because I wanted to leave our lake house and our family to move 2000 miles away. My Dad and dad said they failed as parents because I didn’t want to stay lake house and run the family farm. I had to make a lot of adjustments quickly, because things down south were vastly different. The hot and cold temperatures were a lot warmer and suddenly I had to deal with humidity. I was only a mile away from the beach though, and that was all I cared about. I still go down to the beach every single day to watch the sunrise. I take our marijuana vape pen so I can get high. It’s impossible to smoke a marijuana joint because it is consistently windy on the beach. The marijuana vape pen works much better and I don’t have to worry about the wind.
