My coworker and I were off on the day when people were chosen to go to a work conference period I know that’s how we ended up being the people nominated to go period it didn’t make me very happy to hear about the news and my coworker wasn’t very happy either period Jack and I found out that the location of the conference was in the middle of the desert and the date of the concert was going to be the middle of June period temperatures in that area in that area during that month are regularly above 100°.
I wasn’t looking forward to going at all.
Jack and I flew on the same airplane. We took a quick flight to our location and rented a car from the airport. We had to share a car, but I didn’t mind at all. I didn’t plan to go anywhere while I was there. I was totally dreading the heat and I plan to stay in the hotel room close to the air conditioner. Jack and I received a list of events for the seminar and then we went up to our room at the hotel. We had a pretty good view of the strip with all of the different buildings. I could see a recreational marijuana dispensary from the window of my hotel room. It was hard to miss the recreational marijuana dispensary sign. It was a huge green plus sign and the word cannabis was underneath it in bright green letters that were colored with neon. When I learned that the marijuana dispensary was that close to the hotel, I decided to check it out.
