My mom doesn’t understand why I smoke so much cannabis, but it really helps me a great deal.
There are a lot of ways that cannabis helps my mind and body.
First of all, cannabis helps me sleep. When I get a better sleep, all of my physical and mental strength can be focused. When I get better sleep, I work better and feel better. Cannabis helps me get a full 8 hours of rest at night and I don’t wake up feeling like I haven’t slept at all. Cannabis also helps a great deal with PTSD symptoms. I suffered from problems with PTSD since I was 18 years old. One of my friends committed suicide when we were in the same room together. Since then I haven’t been able to get the thought of my friend out of my mind. I had three years of therapy and the only thing that seems to help me is cannabis. Cannabis makes me feel a little bit less anxious and there are days when I can’t even forget about all of the crazy things that I saw five years ago. My mom thinks that cannabis is a drug and she doesn’t understand that it has any good medical benefits. She is from the old way of thinking. She still believes that marijuana is a drug and a gateway to other problems like heroin use and crack cocaine. I wish my mom would take the time to read more about all of the many benefits that marijuana can offer. I think she would benefit from smoking a bowl every once in a while.
