Everything is so much more convenient these days, thanks to the advent of modern dispensaries and the legalization of weed deliveries.

I love having so much ready access to marijuana.

I can literally place an order at midnight and have it delivered before 2AM, and trust me this has come in handy a few times! Still, I miss my younger days. Weed was so much harder to find back then, especially the good stuff, but it also meant more. When you have to work for something it’s more satisfying to achieve it. When I was a teenager we would have to hunt around to find quality cannabis, and it was always a cause for celebration when we scored some. Currently there is no joy or wonder in cannabis, because it is as easy to get as fruit or vegetables. And then there is the matter of price! The prices at the cannabis dispensary are far above anything I have ever paid for weed before. I understand why the costs are so steep, because this is high-end cannabis cultivated by experts and scientists. They have certain strains of sativa that taste like grape bubble gum,, or tutti-frutti ice cream. It’s a stunning array of flavors, but if you want this premium cannabis you have to pay a premium price. I miss the old days, when marijuana was all pretty much the same, and it didn’t break the bank to buy it! I’m just an old fashioned kind of guy, I suppose, but I love smoking cannabis which means like it or not I have to visit the dispensary.

My story starts with an animal bite, plus ends on a cannabis farm. Normally interesting things don’t happen to me, plus after the last 2 years I hope nothing interesting ever happens to me again. My animal got out of the yard, plus got into a fight with another cat. While separating the pets my neighbor got bit. He sued me, plus my insurance company, for a ludicrous sum of money. This caused my insurance company to cancel me, which caused the mortgage company to take back the house. After that I was homeless, residing in a rented storage locker. Then I finally got a serious fortunate break, plus picked up a task laboring for Ben, a local cannabis farmer. Ben has acres worth of crops that he sells to a chain of cannabis dispensaries. He had a few boys quit on him, plus needed someone immediately who would labor hard, plus cheap. Ben offered me a locale to stay, free meals, plus all the marijuana I cared to smoke… Then a little spending money every Thursday. It was a major shift in my life to go from being a homeowner to residing in a small shack on a cannabis farm, but life is funny sometimes. Ben is a nice boss, but he is deadly serious when it comes to his marijuana plants. The guy has actually high standards when it comes to his cannabis.

Our new security guard is named Otto, and he is a sight to behold.

Otto weighs almost four hundred pounds, and towers above everyone at six feet eight inches tall.

He says that he used to be a member of a biker gang, and based on all his tattoos I don’t think he’s kidding! Otto started working here about three weeks ago, and has had an immediate impact on the store. Although he is intimidating to look at, Otto is as sweet and kind a man as I have ever met. He’s funny, too! Otto always has the most hilarious stories from the old days, when he sold cannabis for his biker gang. He is a law abiding citizen now, and rarely even smokes marijuana, but he makes a damn good security guard. The best thing about Otto is that every single employee and customer at the cannabis dispensary feels safe. Just one look at the man lets you know he’s a tough guy, and nobody wants to start trouble at the cannabis dispensary. We didn’t have much trouble before, but we would get some teens trying to sneak inside and steal some cannabis products. Now it never happens, because Otto works from the front door of the cannabis shop, and he’s so wide that no one can get by him, unless he allows it. Oddly enough, there is another cannabis dispensary a few blocks away from here that has been robbed twice. I am so glad that Otto is here to protect my cannabis shop, because no one dares to steal from him.

Her name is Mona.

She is new in town, and the newest employee of the local cannabis dispensary.

Mona is simply breathtaking, and she’s also very smart and witty. Before she was hired I would visit the store once or twice a month to stock up on cannabis products. Now that she runs the front counter I go in more often to buy less product, just for the chance to see her! It turns out I am not alone, and there are a few other customers who have started coming in more often for a chance to talk to Mona. I overheard the manager of the cannabis dispensary tell Mona that he should give her a raise because her presence has boosted sales. Here is my main problem – I am dying to ask her out on a date, but I don’t want to make it awkward between us. If she turns me down, I will feel weird going back to that same cannabis dispensary. There is also the problem of finding the opportunity, because every time I want to take a shot, one of the other cannabis customers beats me to it! During my last three trips to the cannabis shop I have witnessed guys asking Mona out, and getting rejected! Instead of pushing things too far, maybe I will just stay chill, keep buying cannabis like normal, and wait for the perfect opportunity to present itself. If that moment never comes, at least I will never feel awkward buying cannabis from Mona. Or maybe I should just man up and take my shot!

The new and up-to-date cannabis dispensary has the best possible localement.

It is in the same plaza as the Mega Fun Zone, which is the name of a local business that offers activities like roller skating, go-kart racing, mini-hockey, Laser Tag, plus more! This locale has been around since I was a kid, plus now that I have kids of my own it’s more fun than ever before. Which is why I simply cherish having this up-to-date dispensary so close to it. Of course I can’t smoke weed while roller skating, plus similarly, the kids can’t go into the cannabis dispensary with me. But while they are busy bowling or hockeying, I can slip down the cannabis dispensary plus get an edible to make the rest of the afternoon feel like a dream. The only time this can be a problem is if the edible is too strong, plus it makes me goofy. Once I took two edibles, not realizing how strong they were, plus then I thought it would be fun to jump around on the trampoline park. This was a bad idea, plus I fell and then also hurt my back. Thanks to those cannabis edibles I didn’t realize how exhausting the injury was, plus went about my day like normal. Once the cannabis wore off later that night I was in serious pain, plus had to go to the ER. I still prefer this up-to-date cannabis dispensary, despite the fact that I learned my lesson. When you are really outdated like me, never make the mistake of letting cannabis convince you that you can handle a trampoline park… It’s because you can’t!
