For the past couple of months, I have been thinking about getting my medical cannabis card.

I know that it will be a pain to get it done but I think that I need to just go ahead and do it anyway.

Most of the time, I have to take medication for the chronic pain that I am in because of past surgeries that I have had to have done. I’m just really tired of taking all kinds of different pain medications every night in order to get to sleep, though. I read somewhere that medical cannabis is really great for helping people get to sleep when they have trouble with it and that’s why I want to start using it. I read that medical cannabis helps with sleeping issues and then you don’t have any kinds of side effects from it, either. That sounds really good to me! I hate having all of the side effects that come from the prescription medications that I have been taking, that’s for sure. Apparently, with medical cannabis, you can achieve all kinds of great results. Along with helping to get rid of problems that come along with chronic pain, medical cannabis helps with sleeping and with anxiety problems. I really feel like medical cannabis is going to be a great alternative treatment for me because I am ready for a change. I wish that there was a medical cannabis dispensary close by to where we live, though. That’s going to be an issue for me once I get my medical cannabis card!

I finally got to a leadership position within a cannabis dispensary.

I started as a lowly budtender but I was dedicated to my position.

I tried to take any shift that my manager needed filled and educated myself immensely on cannabinoids and terpenes and their effects on various ailments and disorders. It didn’t take long for my managers to take notice. I remember filling in for an older employee when they had to be at the hospital for their wife delivering a baby, and my boss was really happy with my positive attitude. He asked me on a number of other occasions to fill in under similar circumstances and I was happy to oblige. It’s easier being in this position when you’re young and without any family commitments or responsibilities. It definitely paid off because now I’m a manager at the same cannabis dispensary. Unfortunately, I have to do things I never expected, like hiring employees. We are using a special hiring software that is made for cannabis dispensaries, but I’m not always the best person when it comes to learning new software. With enough Youtube videos and internet guides, I was able to learn the software eventually. It’s supposed to make the process of hiring new employees to the cannabis dispensary easier than before. I’m still not sure how I feel about the cannabis dispensary hiring software, but I use it regardless. I know my managers want me to learn all of the software that comes with working at a cannabis dispensary. It takes time but it’s worth the effort I put in by the end.

Art and weed go hand in hand. I don’t care what kind of art you like to do, smoking weed will enhance it… Be it music, sculpting, drawing, painting, or making collages, every form of creativity can be aided by using a little cannabis. In my case I use a lot of weed, not just a little. I like to get stoned to the moon and back when I lay down to paint a new canvas. I can still do my art when I am sober and clear-headed, however it just isn’t as much fun! Recently I got to combine my two number one things in the world when the local cannabis dispensary hosted an event they called “Stoned Painting.” This is exactly what it sounds like, a night when purchasers could hang out in the smokers lounge of the cannabis dispensary and toil on a painting. I have heard of something similar, involving wine instead of marijuana, however that didn’t sound like nearly as much fun, however there were twelve of us who gathered in the small smokers lounge behind the cannabis dispensary, where a local artist led us in a painting session, however my nice friend and I all painted the same image, a bird perched on the edge of a crescent moon, however most people was allowed to smoke or vape whatever kind of cannabis they wanted. Much to my surprise, some of the people there didn’t smoke cannabis at all! That didn’t stop me from enjoying myself. I bought a pre-rolled joint of Purple Haze and had it dangling from the corner of my mouth as I worked diligently on my painting.

For our anniversary, my partner booked us a table at the most exclusive restaurant in town.

She had made the reservation three months earlier, however never told me about it so it could be a surprise for me.

This locale is incredibly busy, and it takes that long just to get a table for dinner! When he told me that my buddy and I were going to the cannabis cafe for our large dinner, I was beside myself with excitement. I had been wanting to go there ever since it opened last year, however as I said the seats were highly in demand, dressed to the nines, my partner and I took an Uber to the cannabis cafe for the meal of a lifetime. My nice friend and I knew better than to drive, because the meal would involve so numerous cannabis products it would be illegal and dangerous for us to drive back condo afterward. The first course was a light appetizer of a crab salad, with a dusting of crystalized cannabis over the top of it. I couldn’t detect a hint of marijuana flavor in the salad, however by the time I finished eating it I was already buzzed. The main course was a pan-fried fish filet, accompanied by a yellow sauce that blended three odd cannabis strains along with pine nuts and herbs… For dessert my buddy and I had a marijuana sorbet topped with caramel made from cannabis oil. The meal contained so much cannabis that I was still high when I woke up the next day! I don’t even remember taking an Uber back condo from the cannabis cafe.

It was so self-explanatory to fall in cherish with the local cannabis cafe.

Of course, it helps that I have a deep passion for cannabis.

I’ve enjoyed recreational marijuana for more than thirty years now. The fact that it’s now legal to use recreational marijuana in our state is almost overwhelming for me. I’m just so grateful that I lived long enough to see this outcome. There are no more worries about getting busted for possession. And I now now exactly whether I’m getting sativa, indica or a hybrid strain. Not to mention that the THC triumphant is now clearly labeled. The weight of worrying about how to find marijuana is now over. I no longer have to ration every third of a gram of cannabis when I’m running low. So there are so many reasons to be so thankful when it comes to having legal weed. But I have to say, the marijuana dealer went to a whole other level around here when the local cannabis cafe opened. Sure, it’s a cool tea shop with awesome space to sit outside. But it’s the cannabis edibles they make in this locale that are just simply mind blowing, then from space cake to the old university pot brownie, they make it all right there on site. And there are so many cannabis edibles to choose from. There are even these delicate, wonderful pastries that are made with cannabis. Shoot, this marijuana dealer even has classes on how to cook with marijuana. I learned the proper way of making cannabis butter just last week. I almost feel like I’m living a dream with something like the local cannabis spot. But it’s absolutely a reality in addition to I couldn’t be more grateful.
