The cannabis strain was more of an indica than a sativa

Cannabis strains can be vastly different from one plant to the next.

Some cannabis strains are more uplifting and energizing, while others leave you feeling sleepy and ready for a nap.

I went to the cannabis shop and I picked up a couple products. One of the products was a brand new cannabis strain called Caribbean fire. The cannabis strain was supposed to be a sativa hybrid. The cannabis strain was the first thing that I opened when I got back that day. I looked at the buds and they were very lush and plump. I was happy about the amount of stem in the product. I hate when I get a cannabis strain that is almost all stem. It has to be trimmed down and prepared before it goes into the grinder or I can’t put it inside of a cone. The cone will rip if there is the tiniest part of the stem inside of the cannabis blend. I filled a 1 gram cone with some of the Caribbean fire cannabis strain. I smoked the entire joint by myself. The stream was very flavorful and I could tell that it had limonene terpenes inside. The Cannabis strain tasted like lemons and grapefruits. Unfortunately, it seemed to be much more of an indica than a sativa. When I was done with the 1 gram cannabis pre-roll, I felt like I needed to take a nap. I was expecting to be energized and filled with energy to complete some chores but I was lazy and wanted to lay down on the bed instead.

Local cannabis cafe brings the joy

It was so easy to fall in love with the local cannabis cafe.

Of course, it helps that I have a deep passion for cannabis.

I’ve enjoyed recreational marijuana for more than thirty years now. The fact that it’s now legal to use recreational marijuana in our state is almost overwhelming for me. I’m just so grateful that I lived long enough to see this outcome. There are no more worries about getting busted for possession. And I now now exactly whether I’m getting sativa, indica or a hybrid strain. Not to mention that the THC content is now clearly labeled. The weight of worrying about how to find marijuana is now over. I no longer have to ration every tenth of a gram of cannabis when I’m running low. So there are so many reasons to be so thankful when it comes to having legal weed. But I have to say, the marijuana business went to a whole other level around here when the local cannabis cafe opened. Sure, it’s a cool coffee shop with awesome space to sit outside. But it’s the cannabis edibles they make in this place that are just simply mind blowing. From space cake to the old school pot brownie, they make it all right there on site. And there are so many cannabis edibles to choose from. There are even these delicate, beautiful pastries that are made with cannabis. Shoot, this marijuana business even has classes on how to cook with marijuana. I learned the proper way of making cannabis butter just last week. I almost feel like I’m living a dream with something like the local cannabis spot. But it’s actually a reality and I couldn’t be more grateful.

Checking for live resin quality

Cannabis continues to grow in acceptance and popularity, creating a multi billion dollar industry.

The rapidly increasing demand has led to new cannabis farmers and producers entering the market.

While the majority of the products sold at the local dispensary are carefully curated and exceptional, I’m always watchful of poor quality. I realize that the industry is still relatively new. Regulations are gradually evolving. I typically shop for cannabis resin, which is a semi-solid to solid substance that is dark brown and rather sticky. Resins are found on the trichomes that cover the surface of cannabis buds. The trichomes are responsible for the cannabinoids and terpenes. Because of this, resins are especially desirable. Authentic resin is typically much more expensive than dried flower. If I come across cheap resin, I know that it’s poor quality. However, a smaller quantity is required. True resin delivers THC potency anywhere between 50% and 95%. It doesn’t take much to deliver intensive effects. For me, it’s all about purity. I am willing to pay more for premium cannabis extracts. I look for a light golden color of oils and concentrate. I check that the product has been lab tested and verified. I always ask for recommendations from the budtenders at the dispensary. They are always knowledgeable in the products and often have firsthand experience. I’ve also gotten familiar with the names of reputable producers of concentrates and my favorite strains. My local dispensary is strenuous in its standards for excellent live resin. The flavor profiles and aromas are preserved through a proper extraction process. It is important that the plant material is kept cool and never exposed to temperatures above 65 to 70 degrees.

I think I might want to get a medical cannabis card

For the past couple of months, I have been thinking about getting my medical cannabis card.

I know that it will be a pain to get it done but I think that I need to just go ahead and do it anyway.

Most of the time, I have to take medication for the chronic pain that I am in because of past surgeries that I have had to have done. I’m just really tired of taking all kinds of different pain medications every night in order to get to sleep, though. I read somewhere that medical cannabis is really great for helping people get to sleep when they have trouble with it and that’s why I want to start using it. I read that medical cannabis helps with sleeping issues and then you don’t have any kinds of side effects from it, either. That sounds really good to me! I hate having all of the side effects that come from the prescription medications that I have been taking, that’s for sure. Apparently, with medical cannabis, you can achieve all kinds of great results. Along with helping to get rid of problems that come along with chronic pain, medical cannabis helps with sleeping and with anxiety problems. I really feel like medical cannabis is going to be a great alternative treatment for me because I am ready for a change. I wish that there was a medical cannabis dispensary close by to where we live, though. That’s going to be an issue for me once I get my medical cannabis card!

Unique benefits of tinctures

Tinctures are a wonderfully versatile, beneficial and unique cannabis consumption method. They are a type of extract that are made by stripping away the excess plant matter and leaving behind the most valuable cannabinoids and terpenes. The dispensary typically offers tinctures in indicas, sativas, hybrids and full-spectrum CBD options. They are sold in compact glass bottles that feature a handy dropper. Everything necessary for consumption is included. Determining a precise dosage is especially easy. The ideal dose depends on personal preference, tolerance and objectives. If the tincture is intended to help with sleep, a single high dose is good for promoting sedation. If the purpose is for treating pain throughout the day, it can be better to use multiple microdoses. Starting with a low dose is always recommended. Most tinctures are available in a one fluid ounce bottone. One full dropper equals one milliliter. Beginning with a quarter of a dropper is a great way to get familiar with the dropper. Use the dropper to place the tincture under the tongue and wait thirty seconds for the cannabinoids to be absorbed before swallowing. The absorbent tissues or mucous membranes under the tongue work to send the cannabinoids, such as THC and CBD, into the bloodstream directly. Since this method doesn’t involve cannabinoids passing through the stomach or liver, the effects kick in quite quickly. Tinctures usually take effect within fifteen to thirty minutes. If added to food, the effects will take longer to be realized. The portability, discretion and simplicity of tinctures make them a great choice for the newbie to cannabis as well as the well-seasoned expert. They are an ideal option for recreational use and an active lifestyle and also often beneficial as a medicinal remedy.
