But we had no clue just what an awesome time we were in for

One thing that comes from working for the same company over several decades is plenty of vacation time. I don’t think they even call it vacation time any longer. It’s all lumped in together as paid time off these days. Regardless, my wife and I have just over 6 weeks a year in time off. And with some of that time, we just got back from our first cannabis vacation. Both of us have always enjoyed recreational marijuana since we discovered cannabis in college. While we have both worked for the same large, multi-national company, we’ve been very careful to fly under the radar when it comes to using cannabis products. We live in a state that doesn’t even recognize medical marijuana. So the idea that we’ll have access to shopping for marijuana for sale any time soon is most unlikely. We’ve been sort of lucky as we know a cannabis grower who grows marijuana as a passion. She provides us with the sativa and indica strains we like. Yet, the idea of going to a cannabis dispensary to shop for marijuana for sale was just so enticing. That’s when it finally dawned on us to take at least one vacation a year to visit states that allow for recreational marijuana. We figured that this would be a lot of fun. But we had no clue just what an awesome time we were in for. We met so many wonderful people in all the local cannabis spots. On top of that, we were able to sample so many new cannabis strains for sale. We’re still enjoying the afterglow from just the best vacation ever.

For the past year, I’ve been actively recovering from a terrible hiking accident. The first 8 months or so were truly terrible and I hope I never experience anything like that again. But after that, I’ve been seeing ever bigger gains when it comes to my physical and emotional recovery. I have to give a lot of credit to cannabis products when it comes to all sides of this process. I went from being on a beautiful hike to broken so badly that it was looking pretty grim there for a while. This is actually a hybrid strain but is sativa dominant. While it also possesses for the body, the sativa strains also really go to work healing the heart and soul. Going through such a traumatic event takes a toll on the psyche as well as the body. With the sativa products, I’ve been more equipped to stay disciplined, positive and hopeful. These are super important characteristics when it’s all you can do to get through another grueling physical therapy session. So yea, without the ability to access the local cannabis spot, I would not be where I am today. And today was a big milestone. My girlfriend and I split a cannabis edible and had a picnic in the park. I don’t think I’ve been more grateful.

Shopping for marijuana for sale is not only still remarkable to me, it’s something that I really like to do. Even if I don’t end up buying something, it’s always nice to check out the local cannabis spot for a bit. Shoot, just being a part of that energy is worth my time. There are always great people to talk with down at the cannabis dispensary just around the corner. Not only do I get to enjoy my local cannabis spot but, it’s literally like a 5 minute walk from my apartment. I love having this marijuana business in our part of town. Finally, there is some more hip, cool businesses coming to our community. I love being able to put my money back into my community. Having a local grocer, florists and other retail services is great because what I earn, I spend right here in my community. It’s a cool part of the city where I’m lucky to live. Having a really awesome local cannabis spot is fitting. It’s not a corporate outlet. No, this marijuana business is owned by locals who bring in local cannabis growers. It’s actually such an awesome way to do business. It might be a shade more expensive than a corporate cannabis dispensary. But the fact that the THC content is always so on point and the consistent quality of cannabis products are what keep me coming back. Plus, I’d much rather a local marijuana business and a local marijuana grower get my money. There’s a sort of cool circle of commerce there that I like to be a part of whenever I can.

Hiking in the national park near my property is a lot of fun.

My friends and I like to go rock climbing and hiking, sometimes we will take our mountain bikes on the trails as well, but it is a lot more fun to traverse each one of the trails on foot.

Hiking the park can be a lot of dangerous fun, so it’s absolutely substantial to be prepared. My friends and I make sure that we wear proper shoes and gear. We also bring safety harnesses and ropes just in case there is some type of accident while we are exploring. My friends and I take recreational marijuana on our hike, but we never smoke marijuana until we reach our destination. It’s a lot of fun to get high and hang out at the reservoir or down by the canyon, but it’s also substantial to get there safely. My friends and I know and understand that it can be genuinely dangerous to scale a wall when your depth perception is off. One of the complications with smoking marijuana is the fact that it makes your senses different, but your taste and smell is different and so is your sense of distance. There were a couple of young kids on the trail last week and they were smoking a marijuana joint near the base of the canyon. They were on their way up and smoked right before they left. I genuinely thought it was pretty dangerous to smoke right before the hike, because the base of the canyon is one of the most hard parts of the 12 mile trek.

I’ve had a lot of crazy things happen during a shift at the hospital.

Some of the crazy stories are almost unbelievable. Some mornings ago I had a patient in the ICU that had just been in a massive car accident. The guy had only been off of a vent for a few hours and I caught the guy trying to smoke marijuana in the powder room. The patient had a lit joint and I could see the smoke from the hallway. As soon as I entered the room, it was simple to smell marijuana. I’ve smoked marijuana in the past and I know the scent from a mile away. I told the guy to put out the marijuana joint and he tried to tell me that he was not smoking. I contacted security and they came to the room to enforce the hospital rules. The guy acted like we were being unreasonable when we asked him to put out the joint, but hospital policy dictates there is no marijuana or smoking of any kind in the ICU or somewhere else on the hospital grounds. An hour after the incident, the guy left the building against medical orders. He was hooked up to an IV and pulled it right out of his arm. The crazy patient was willing to die on the street if we weren’t going to let the guy get high in the powder room. I never know what is going to happen from one afternoon until the next. I know that’s what makes my job so much fun.
