The kid got caught smoking marijuana by the dumpster

I manage a bar and grill downtown by the mall. During the week we are busy at night, but not so much during the day. On Saturdays and Sundays, we are extremely busy for lunch and dinner. On the weekend nights we are open until 2:00 in the morning and we serve alcohol until closing. I needed to find a new dishwasher to fill a weekend position and I found a kid that was 17 years old. I thought he was a little young to work in the kitchen. I don’t normally hire anyone under the age of 18 but this guy was close to his birthday. He worked in the kitchen for a couple of weeks and he did a really good job. Then he started slacking off and he came to work late. Two days in a row, he came to work smelling like marijuana. I gave the kid a warning about coming to work smelling like a dispensary. The next week I only gave the kids three shifts instead of four. He worked all three days and never smelled like marijuana. Last night I caught him smoking marijuana by the dumpster an hour before he was supposed to start his shift. I told the kid that I didn’t have any other choice except to let him go. I gave him a lot of warnings and chances. He tried to tell me that marijuana was legal, but he wasn’t old enough to legally purchase the product. That was not going to be a good excuse for smoking in the parking lot of the restaurant.

Dispensary offers delivery service

Soon after the grand opening, my local cannabis dispensary offered online ordering and in-store pickup.

It’s especially convenient to be able to browse their full selection of cannabis products whenever I have some free time.

I shop from my laptop early in the morning, late at night or during my lunch hour. I can narrow my search by brand, consumption method, category, weight, price, potency and more. I click on my choices to add them to my cart. Because I already have an account set up with all of my information, the checkout process is quick and simple. The budtenders package my order securely and discreetly, and I can stop at the dispensary any time to pick it up. Just recently the dispensary added delivery service. I can now have my order brought right to my front door. If I place my order before noon, it arrives the very same day. As long as I spend the minimum, there is no delivery fee. I have no problem spending the minimum amount. I am a fan of concentrates, which are rather expensive. I appreciate the especially high potency, intensity of flavor and long-lasting effects. While concentrates cost quite a bit more than dried flower, a little goes a long way. They also have a longer shelf life. I enjoy the ability to browse the different brands of shatter, wax, budder, rosin, hash, kief and live sauce online. I read up on the products and make careful choices. The delivery service eliminates the wasted time of sitting in rush hour traffic, searching for a parking place or waiting in line.

I have my choice of dispensaries

I live in a state with legal medical and recreational marijuana.

For the past five years, I’ve been able to shop at any dispensary in the state.

All I need is a valid government-issued identification proving that I’m above the age of twenty-one. There are several licensed weed shops within driving distance of my home. Each one offers unique amenities. The one facility is very modern, extremely large and offers a huge inventory of products. I have access to the most well-known brands, innovative strains and all of the consumption methods. I can buy everything from sky-high THC potency to CBD isolates. There are an abundance of sativas, indicas and hybrids to treat everything from pain and inflammation to insomnia, migraines and psoriasis. I can purchase products strictly for recreational enjoyment. The shelves are stocked in all kinds of flower, pre-rolls in singles and packs, tinctures, topicals, extracts, accessories and more. A smaller dispensary that is a little further away includes an on-site bakery. They create the most delicious edibles. I love the peanut butter cups, cookies, brownies and chocolates. They produce gummies in over a dozen flavors. Everything is wonderfully fresh and available in a wide range of THC to CBD ratios. They even offer beverages such as colas, root beers, tonics, lemonades, cannabeer and mocktails. One of my favorite dispensaries is a boutique shop that grows their own cannabis, taking their products from seed to sail. I have joined their loyalty program and earn points with every purchase. I’m also the first to know about the release of new products and special deals.

I always look at lab reports for cannabis products I want to buy

I think ingredient lists on food products are an essential part of the trust relationship between a consumer and the manufacturer.

  • You should know what sort of compounds, ingredients, and chemicals that you’re consuming, especially if you have known food allergies.

Knowing whether or not a candy bar has peanuts in it could be the difference between life and death for someone with a severe nut allergy. I used to have a sensitivity to dairy products and always avoided anything with excessive whey inside. If I didn’t see an ingredient list on a food product, I couldn’t safely buy it and consume it. I think this standard should be set for all products that are consumed in the human body, including all cannabis products as well. Luckily, many legal cannabis markets require lab testing of all cannabis products that are sold in legal cannabis dispensaries. If you want to know what kind of effects you should expect from one product versus another, you can look at the lab reports for any cannabis product that you want. The terpenes in each batch determine the effects felt, so if you want a cannabis product that is sedating you should look for myrcene, linalool, and caryophyllene. Likewise, if you want a cannabis product that is more stimulating for daytime use, you could focus on terpenes like limonene and terpinolene. But since all cannabis strains contain a complex mix of different terpene ratios, you have to try each strain for yourself to be the ultimate judge of each one’s effects. Every person experiences each cannabis strain in a unique way.

I don’t know if recreational cannabis will be a good idea here

When I was in college, I wanted nothing more than to move out west to a state with legal cannabis dispensaries.

At the time all legal cannabis was done through medical marijuana programs approved by individual states.

It wasn’t until a few years later when Colorado became the first state to approve recreational marijuana, with others soon following suit. In the years since, we have new states approving similar measures during every single election cycle. We might be years out from federal legalization of recreational marijuana, but that movement is catching serious wind throughout a good portion of the country. My state in particular passed a constitutional amendment legalizing medical marijuana back in 2016. Our medical cannabis program has come a long way in the years since, as we originally couldn’t purchase cannabis flower products in the state due to weird government rules and regulations. Now we can purchase everything from cannabis edibles to concentrates like live resin and live rosin. Some people are pushing for our state to legalize recreational marijuana next, but I’m hesitant on supporting that movement. While my homestate in the northern midwest saw a massive drop in prices after the legalization of recreational marijuana, many of the states out west saw an opposite effect. Their state governments created so many taxes on recreational cannabis that many have returned to the black market to afford their marijuana. It pains me to think that people once had good access to affordable cannabis products but suddenly can no longer get them due to the new system put in place regarding recreational marijuana.
