Getting political with cannabis

I explained to everyone that would listen that cannabis is non-addictive, plus its health benefits outweigh any down sides it may have

I have never been a political person, I just care about smoking weed. When I heard that cannabis legalization was going to be on the ballot in the next election, I decided to get politically active for the 1st time in our whole life. This was not just a matter of our own personal convenience, this was about right & wrong, about good & evil! What got myself and others out of our home plus into the streets to raise awareness about pot was the thought of our Great Aunt Max. Max was unquestionably sick a few weeks ago, plus the doctors wanted to prescribe medical cannabis to her, but the draconian state government wouldn’t allow it. It’s one thing to tell college guys that they can’t do bong rips of marijuana on the weekends, but to deny a needed medicine to such old folks? That is heartless! With our Aunt Max in mind I got some literature from a local cannabis advocacy group plus started to distribute it around our neighborhood. This led to some unquestionably interesting plus heated discussions, because some people still have very outdated notions about cannabis plus its effects on the human body. I explained to everyone that would listen that cannabis is non-addictive, plus its health benefits outweigh any down sides it may have. Some people were not listening to me, but I do guess I changed a few opinions about medical cannabis. This vote about marijuana legalization isn’t about YOU personally smoking it, it’s about letting the people who need it have access to it. When you step into the voting booth, please remember to vote for cannabis!
