My favorite cannabis consumption method is smoking.

I like visiting the dispensary and checking out what’s new, what’s popular and the amazing variety of strains available.

I am fortunate that the dispensary in closest proximity to my house focuses heavily on dried flower. They have their own grow operation that includes both sun grown and greenhouse grown plants. This allows them to take the plants from seed to sale and be especially particular about quality and safety. Along with their own strains, they showcase all of the local growers and most sought after brands. They sell an abundance of indicas, sativas and hybrids. There are strains with incredibly high THC potency as well as those that feature a greater ratio of CBD. I have my choice of effects. Some of the strains are better for getting motivated for a workout, hike or project around the house. Some help to relax, de-stress and combat anxiety. I have specific strains I like to help me sleep, treat a migraine or hang out with friends. With practice, I’ve gotten quite good at rolling a decent joint. I have learned how much weed to pack and how tightly to roll to ensure a smooth and consistent burn. However, the process requires extra gear, such as rolling papers and a griner. It also creates a bit of a mess and some waste. There are times when I prefer pre-rolls because of their simplicity. I can buy a single pre-roll to try something new or a whole pack of favorites. They are affordable, portable and perfect every time. The dispensary carries pre-rolls filled with top-shelf flower as well as cheaper options filled with shake. They sell varieties infused with concentrate for added potency.

It’s hard to describe just what I’m experiencing. The word in my mind is evenness. And I might be clinging to that word because it seems to me as though the word balance gets overused so much. I didn’t go to the marijuana store so much looking for balance. But the fact is that using legal cannabis from the cannabis dispensary near me took me back. And in a good way. I’m in my forties and it’s way past time for me to do a bit more in the holistic sense of my life. I’ve decided to really begin to examine my life as a whole and legal weed is part of that now. Honestly, when I went to the cannabis dispensary, it was on the suggestion of my new therapist. She is a holistic practitioner who incorporates legal weed into her treatments for many. The first thing she said to me was that if I felt the need to relax in the evening, go with recreational marijuana and leave the alcohol alone. I’ve been drinking my entire adult life. For sure, I came home and had at least 3 drinks every, single night after work. This was my way of unwinding. But it also made me fat, lethargic and sedentary. That’s a non starter really when it comes to finding that even keel that I’d been looking for. Once I tried the legal weed I bought at the marijuana dispensary, I was so pleased to feel a familiar peace. It was that evenness that I experienced when I smoked recreational weed back in college. I relax but I also don’t just want to sit and do nothing. I’ve even gotten into meditating and yoga thanks to that evenness I feel after a trip to the legal weed store.

Although my pal and I got no usable cannabis out of the experiment, at least it was a fun project to kill the time

I first tried my hand at growing cannabis plants during the COVID lockdown… My roommate Ben and I were trapped in our apartment for multiple months, and to fight off lodge fever and keep ourselves sane, my pal and I played games, watched motion pictures, and started multiple modern hobbies, but i tried my hand at painting, only to find I wasn’t easily enjoyable at it. Ben remodeled his kitchen, and decorated the entire house… although he wasn’t easily enjoyable at that, either. Then he came across an outdated tin he had, which was filled with cannabis seeds; We had some outdated flower pots and a handful of marijuana seeds, so my pal and I decided to compete and see who grew the best weed. If you have never tried your hand at growing cannabis, let me tell you it takes a lot of time and effort, with minimal results. Ben and I were both rank amateurs with cannabis horticulture, and my pal and I never would have tried if my pal and I weren’t going deranged from being cooped up in quarantine. It took multiple weeks to get right, however all of the marijuana my pal and I produced was subfamiliar at best. Most of the marijuana plants were so weak and filled with seeds that they were unfit for smoking at all. Although my pal and I got no usable cannabis out of the experiment, at least it was a fun project to kill the time. I am excited those days are behind us, and I can go to the cannabis dispensary again. I adore to smoke high quality marijuana, however I’m just no enjoyable at growing it myself.

I finally just had to take my sister by the hand plus walk her right into the cannabis dispensary that’s right down the street from where I live, my sister visits often as it’s only about a four hour drive for her to get to me! I live in a city so I don’t have a car, but my sister is living the suburban life of a wifey plus mother! She has a part time gig online however the rest of the time she’s focused on her kids plus the house, however yet, she’s sort of been drifting into a funk the last few years! Her thinking seems to be focused all around what she isn’t instead of what she is.

I’m a few years older than my sister so there is a big brother part to my concern.

However, my sister has consistently been sort of afraid of taking the least bit of option for joy. I knew that sativa products would help her with that, and or at least, I figured since we share a lot of DNA, it would help her. I know that marijuana products have been so beneficial for me. I’m so thankful that I found them in college, then that was when I first discovered recreational marijuana. But my sister passed on all that plus was really at college to get married. That’s just the truth plus she’d agree with that, but fortunately, she ended up meeting her soulmate so it worked out. Yet, she’s been down on herself plus must plain uncomfortable really. So it was so cool to see her sort of let down her guard once we were shopping for marijuana for sale. It was like she was absolutely doing something; And since then, she has continued to use sativa products. Sure enough, they have worked for her too.

When I moved here, I was pretty excited about the fact that recreational marijuana was legal… Cannabis has been something that I’ve enjoyed since I first discovered it in my early 20’s. But alas, I was never able to entirely find a consistent way to procure it. I hated when I had to search out weed through means that made me afraid. On top of the anxiety, I never entirely knew what I was getting. I have a preference for sativa products although I never knew what I was getting. It wasn’t like I could go shopping for marijuana for sale & talk to a knowledgeable advisor about what I wanted. I mean, I had no idea what the THC pleased even was. I was just lucky if I came condo with cannabis & not oregano. So that meant that my recreational marijuana use was pretty hit & miss for the last 15 years or so. The state I had been living in since college doesn’t even offer medical marijuana. So when I took this task opportunity, it wasn’t lost on me that I could easily go shopping for marijuana for sale. I barely was even moved into my locale before I took the short walk down to the local cannabis spot. It was even better than I had expected to be honest. I knew that I was coming condo with marijuana products that was a particularty. But what I wasn’t expecting was to find such a cool spot to just be. The local cannabis spot is full of fine people & fine vibes. So while I’m taking condo cannabis after shopping for marijuana for sale, I’m also taking condo a buzz that comes from those awesome vibrations.
