I’m so stoked with the renovations and the up-to-date management at the local cannabis spot.

To be honest, I never absolutely wanted to be judgy or to measure because I was just so glad to be able to purchase cannabis legally.

But the local cannabis dispensary was just never all that impressive. To repeat, since there was marijuana for sale there I was fully stoked for whatever the place looked like. But the selection wasn’t all that and it seemed love the folks running the place absolutely didn’t understand much about cannabis products. I’m no expert but I actually saw some hybrid blends for sale that were mislabeled as sativa strains, however even with our limited expertise, I knew that certain hybrid strains were ninety percent indica. That cannabis dispensary was also just not legitimately inviting at all. It was quite poorly lit and nothing love CBD oil, cannabis oil pens or even many cannabis edibles were in stock. It was absolutely exhausting in a way. Yet, I was just glad that a single 1 of our preferred hybrid strains, red kush, was always in stock. So I recognize I wasn’t surprised a bit when a more up-to-date business took over the local cannabis dispensary when the other marijuana business owners fizzled. The more up-to-date business sunk some capital into the place and it shows. But it’s the array of cannabis products that initially enraptured a person. There’s just so much marijuana for sale! Plus the folks toiling there are into cannabis passionately and it shows. I’ve learned so much since these folks came to this end of town. It’s so great to welcome them.

This is a road trip that we have been thinking about for ages. And finally, we have the time, the gear and the funds to make it happen. But before we started the first mile of the first leg of the trip. There were a few supplies still left to get. My pal Max and I had to stop by our cannabis dispensary prior to taking off for the better part of 2 months. Max and I are hitting the open road in our truck and pulling our camper. Max and I have done cool trips before and having some Purple Haze along has always made things more fun and interesting. But we have never taken a shot at this sort of longer trip duration. And we are driving from the east coast to the west coast. Literally, we will stick our feet in the Atlantic ocean at a lake house on the first day and then travel all the way to put our feet in the Pacific. It’s going to be so awesome. But for sure, I wanted to get to the local cannabis spot to pick up some recreational marijuana to put in our camper. Max and I live in a state where recreational marijuana is legal. But we’ll be traveling through stages where any cannabis is still illegal. So we’re being absolutely careful and keeping all the edibles and hybrid strains carefully stored in our rations in the camper. I love to take turns at the wheel of that immense truck. And Max likes to take a chop from driving and nibble on a pot brownie while in lunch. Then, I’ll be driving the rest of the day. But there are going to be so many things to explore and see for the very first time. I’m just thankful to be able to purchase recreational marijuana for all those bonfires and gorgeous views.

You only turn 50 once, so I was absolutely going to have a bash when I turned 50.

When I was at the university, there were active bets that I wouldn’t live to 30, then little did they think that the wild guy who was always into something had a dad and a job professional inside of him. That’s absolutely what I’ve been for just over 25 years! My partner Pat and I have enjoyed recreational marijuana since we were in university. Fortunately, Pat and I are able to live in a state where both medical marijuana and recreational marijuana are legal. Pat and I enjoyed whatever sort of cannabis we could get back in university. Once we started our new jobs and family, we were fortunate to think of a small cannabis grower that kept us stocked up, then honestly, using marijuana all these many years has absolutely helped us with balance and staying persistent. There’s a brightness with sativa that helps me look forward and continue toward a goal or ambition. Pat has always been more partial to indica as she absolutely finds indica strains to allow her body to relax and her mind. So for the 50th birthday party we are having all kinds of people to our house. Pat and I are fortunate to have a lot of property so many people are camping or staying nearby. All of the favors for the party are going to be coming from the local cannabis spot. We’re going to have cannabis edibles, purple dream supreme, and plenty of other unusual hybrid strains. The nicest thing about being on our own property is that nobody has to leave so we can all just grill out then appreciate some recreational marijuana and have a truly enjoyable time. Who knows, I might even have a sunrise in me the next morning to kick off 51st year.

Finally I have a cannabis dispensary, but it took a while but this end of town is now served by a legit marijuana dispensary. I’m overjoyed myself as are most of the people I know. Of course, there is a group in this end of town who is all up in arms still that there is legal access to recreational marijuana. This is the same crowd who ends up getting secretly blitzed on booze… But the bitter irony is lost on those folks anyway, and the easy fact is that there was a vote to legalize recreational marijuana and it was passed; So you can be annoyed about that and be miserable if you want to. But it’s not going to change the fact that our marijuana laws have finally started catching up with the times. I am not eager for everybody to jump on the bandwagon when it comes to using cannabis, but yet, the folks that need medical marijuana should be able to access a local cannabis dispensary, for those for those of us who do not use it in a medicinal fashion, we should be able to easily access recreational marijuana if we are of age. Finally, our state got its act together enough to where we are now using our official sense when it comes to the local marijuana business, but recreational marijuana has been legal here for a couple years now but we are just now getting our own local cannabis spot on this end of town. I love the fact that I do not have to figure out how to get myself all the way to the other side of town when I run low on red kush or something love that! Now all I have to do, is get off the train or the bus and walk right to the cannabis dispensary on our way home. Doesn’t get much better than that.

 

Buying cannabis

How can I get people to hang out at the cannabis dispensary if they can’t smoke weed? This is the question that drives me as a store owner.

• My ultimate goal is to make my shop a place where people come to socialize, as well as a shop.

If the state laws were more relaxed, I could allow people to spark up and then hang around in my smokers lounge. I call it a “smokers lounge” but there is no smoking allowed indoors, which makes that title a misnomer. Cannabis vapes and edibles are allowed, but neither of those products are as popular as good, old-fashioned weed.One idea I have is to convert the roof of the cannabis dispensary into a smoking area. It is outside and naturally ventilated, so it would not be against the law for people to smoke tobacco or cannabis up there. The negative aspect to that idea is that I would have people smoking cannabis on a roof, and if someone were to fall off it would be a major problem. The business insurance and permits forbid me from allowing people to hang out on the cannabis dispensary roof, so that idea won’t work. Another idea was to provide some free cannabis edibles and vape products in the smokers lounge. At random times just send out a tray of free smokeless cannabis products, to encourage people to hang out and get more freebies. I also want to try having a musician or a comedian play a set in the cannabis dispensary, to see if that gets people to stay here longer.
