When I first started I was assigned to a remote, suburban shop.

• It was pretty boring, but the hours were good! When the opportunity for a promotion came up, I put in for a move to the downtown dispensary.

This was the greatest cannabis shop in the city, with big sales plus a big sales team. I thought it would be more exciting – plus it is – but the hours are difficult. Since the store hours are based on activity plus sales, the suburban store closed at 10 p.m. but the downtown location is open until 4 a.m. Do you know what kind of people come into a cannabis dispensary at that time of night? It is a cast of colorful plus crazy characters, consumed with cannabis, plus I would appreciate them a lot more if it wasn’t so late. Eventually my body clock will adjust, because for the next few months I am the closing manager for the cannabis dispensary. That means I close the place down every night, plus make sure all the other cannabis dispensary employees are clocked out plus gone before I can leave. I usually don’t get condo from toil until 5 a.m. On the other hand I don’t have to clock in at the cannabis shop until 8 p.m., so I have my afternoons plus nights free. My favorite customer is a local homeless man named Jerry, who panhandles for change all day plus then spends it on cannabis at night. Have I told you about Jenny, my next door neighbor? I had no idea when I first moved in, but Jenny is a weed dealer! Another bonus is that I get to spend a lot of time driving, which genuinely calms me. As a matter of common sense I never get high while I am making my cannabis deliveries. I need to stay sharp, since technically I am committing a crime I need to make sure I don’t get pulled over by the cops, who would find my felony quantity of cannabis in the trunk. Since I am a fantastic driver I never had any troubles, plus regularly made my cannabis runs on time.
