I wasn’t looking forward to taking the labor trip.

• I legitimately didn’t want to do it.

I don’t like airplanes too much, I don’t like renting a car, booking a room, or any of the other things similar to that which comes with traveling for work… My boss provided me with no option in the matter, and insisted that I attend the trade show, which was all the way across the whole nation, but the flight there was delayed, and took me 6 hours instead of 3, so it started off poorly. When I finally got to my endpoint, I was blissful to see that recreational cannabis was legal in this city. My luck seemed to be changing for the better! Before I checked into my hotel, I went to a weed store and spent as much as $300 on a variety of products. If I was going to spend all morning listening to convention speakers talking about boring sales techniques, I wanted to have an ample amount of cannabis in my body to make it tolerable! During breaks in between lectures I would go ahead and come back up to my room for additional cannabis. On morning two I was able to learn the joys of cannabis gummies, and ate a bunch of them during a three-hour long presentation. I had a marvelous time, and made sure to get myself a few extra packages of cannabis gummies to take back to my residence with me. On the other hand, I am kind of blissful that I don’t have legal cannabis in my hometown. I have an extreme lack of self-control, so if I had access to cannabis 24/7 I would absolutely stay stoned always.

My friends and I were visiting a couple of people that we haven’t seen in a while and we were in an unfamiliar city.

I was feeling a little bit anxious, because there were new people that I did not know. It was my suggestion to go to a cannabis shop nearby. Cannabis always makes me feel much more sociable and less anxious. There were a couple of cannabis shops nearby and one of them offered free delivery. Instead of going to the shop nearby, we decided to order for delivery. The online website was very easy to use and everything was set up on the left hand side of the page so I could easily find each one of the categories. I chose a couple of pre-rolled marijuana cigarettes and I also bought an eighth of sativa marijuana flower. The total for my order was around $60 and I didn’t think that that company was going to deliver for such a small amount. Fortunately, there was no minimum delivery amount since we were so close to the shop. The delivery driver arrived about 30 minutes after I placed the order. He also brought my friends and I extras. We got a couple of 5 mg hard candies and we got two extra pre-rolls as well. Since it was our first time ordering for delivery, the marijuana driver hooked us up with free stuff. We made sure to tip the driver well, especially once we realized there was a lot of extra free stuff in the bottom of the bag.

When I go to the store, I check online to see who is having the most impressive sales and bargains that week, and a little bit of planning and forethought makes life more straightforward and prevents all types of problems from ever happening. Last year cannabis was legalized in this state, and so I decided to do what I do all of the time, and study more about it. Call me a nerd if you wish to do so, however I never legitimately messed around with drinking or smoking cannabis when I was a young child. Now that it was legal, why shouldn’t I find out more information and get a solid cannabis education? Of course I was pretty curious about what it was like to get high, however I was also a bit sad. The supervisor of the weed store was legitimately calm and welcoming, and answered all the questions I asked… He said it would be wise to start with something light that had low THC content, and then labor my way up to cannabis flower. Smoking cannabis buds or flowers is where most people get started initially, however he recommended I try a cannabis edible. I had a relatively nice weekend eating cannabis gummies, and the next time I returned to the weed store, I went for it and bought a few grams of OG Kush. Brand new software was installed in all of the cannabis shop computers yesterday and we have been experiencing a ton of problems.

The new software it’s supposed to make it much easier for budtenders to find the products and check people out.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like all of the products are listed in the computer yet. I was looking for some of our top shelf products yesterday and they were not listed. The manager told me to bring up the product as something else that was the same price. It will be hard to keep track of sales and product inventory if we are constantly ringing up one product as another. This morning I had problems as well and every package was ringing up for $1. Even the marijuana products that were $50 were bringing up for $1. The manager was aggravated and annoyed and she decided to call the company that installed the new computer programming. We contacted the software company to figure out why things weren’t working properly, but they had no good answers over the phone. The guy at the software company told us that he could fix the problem remotely, but we are still having issues with the product bringing up the wrong price. The manager said that the software company is going to come back on Friday to update the software and work on the glitches. Until then, we have to figure out a way to make the system work. I knew there would be problems when the new software was installed, but I didn’t think it would be this bad.

Did your parents smoke weed when you were a little kid? Did this only happen in my experience? I have to laugh about it sometimes, because it never occurred to me until recently.

I am in my mid 30s, and have two children of my own.

I smoke weed basically every morning, however I keep it secret from the teenagers. I only smoke outside, so that I don’t expose them to secondhand pot smoke and end up hurting their fragile lungs. It made me wonder about my own parents, and if they smoked marijuana when I was young, the same way I do these days! One morning my teenagers will be grown up, and smoking cannabis just about anywhere, and will have the same question about me. Last weekend I stopped by to help my dad with some yard work, because he is getting pretty old. I asked him point blank if he and mom smoked cannabis when I was a kid. Dad laughed and then said “son, my associate and I still smoke cannabis, and have for your entire life.” Like me, dad regularly smoked marijuana outside so the smoke wouldn’t affect me too much at all. My good pal and I did the yard labor together, then went inside where dad took out a monster sized glass jar filled with cannabis. There must have been seven ounces worth of marjuana in there! He hand rolled the largest joint I have ever seen in all my days, and then we sat together drinking soda and smoking cannabis for the rest of the afternoon. One morning I hope that I can smoke cannabis with my teenagers, however that probably will never happen.
