I recently took a trip out west to visit the coast.

While I’ve certainly seen much of the country, this was poised to be my first view of the entire ocean & I wanted to make the most of it.

My boyfriend wasn’t nearly as happy as I because although he has made trips such as this yearly since he was a toddler. His parents worked in the military & were always traveling & moving all over the country through his entire childhood. On the one hand, I realize the people I was with and I are visiting a state park to go hiking & he’s never been to it before, even though he’s been through this section of earth in the past.
